Jennifer Kelley Killian Selected 2019 Women in Small Business Honoree, Non-Profit Executive Director Category

As a way to celebrate National Women’s Small Business Month in October and Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. program’s second anniversary, P.O.W.E.R. partnered with Gambit and asked readers to vote for their favorite women-owned businesses across the Greater New Orleans area. Thousands participated, listing their vote for their favorite women in retail, food or beverage, health and wellness, service provider, and non-profit executive director.

Jennifer Kelley Killian, executive director of the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation, took home the top honors for the non-profit category. She is being recognized for her accomplishments in the region’s women business community. She leads the daily operations of the Foundation, whose mission is to strengthen Louisiana’s hospitality industry through support of individuals within the community. They support hospitality industry workforce development programs, provide access to culinary and hospitality education, work to ensure a positive perception of Louisiana’s hospitality industry, and provide financial assistance and/or guidance to people in the hospitality industry during times of crisis.

Jennifer is an active member of P.O.W.E.R., the Fidelity Bank program designed to meet the unique needs of women in business throughout the region.
