We recommend that you contact 211, a free 24-hour phone call from any land line or cell phone. They have trained counselors who can refer you to any programs or organizations providing the resources you may need within your local community. ***HURRICANE RELIEF PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY***
Applicants requesting emergency financial assistance due to the impacts of Hurricane Ida will have to meet the following program eligibility requirements:
- Proof of Residency: Applicant must live in one of the 25 parishes identified by FEMA as a disaster area
- Industry Employment: Applicant must be directly employed at a Louisiana restaurant, hotel or bar
- Financial Burden: Applicant must have experienced a housing or utility financial emergency as a result of Hurricane Ida
