The Louisiana Hospitality Foundation, an organization facilitating charitable efforts of the hospitality industry since 2006, has announced the selection of Jennifer Kelley as its executive director.

“Jennifer will bring leadership and creativity to the Foundation’s fundraising programs and a deep sense of commitment to our mission,” reported David Blitch, president and co-founder of the Louisiana Hospitality Foundation, and vice president of resort operations at L’Auberge Casino Hotel, Baton Rouge. “She has worked closely with our Board for the past three years as a consultant, and as a result we feel her breadth of perspective and experience will help expand our efforts.”

As executive director, Jennifer will manage the daily operation of the Foundation and coordinate all fundraising events, including the planning and production of the Louisiana Seafood Festival in the fall. These events help fund the Foundation’s donations to community programs such as the Louisiana Restaurant Association’s Education Foundation, Padua Community Services of Catholic Charities, and others.

“I am excited to serve the state’s hospitality industry in this new capacity,” remarks Kelley. “I am committed to this organization and the new challenges it will provide.”

Jennifer’s resume includes over 18 years of consulting, management, event planning, business development, and marketing in many business sectors including non-profit. Prior to this appointment, she was business development director of a New Orleans-based marketing agency. She holds a music degree with a minor in business from Loyola University – New Orleans. Jennifer remains connected to the community through networking and volunteerism, and is an active supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
